In the wake of all the difficult news stemming from the impact of Hurricane Irma, the employment situation in St. Johns County continues to produce positive numbers.
St. Johns County Emergency Management has announced that all county bridges are now open as of 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Due to the threat of Hurricane Irma, Flagler Hospital will limit access, starting at noon Saturday.
As the state’s unemployment rate dipped to its lowest level in a decade last month, St. Johns County remained one of the best counties for employment.
Florida is one of the grayest states in the union and has some counties with the oldest populations in the country, but St. Johns County isn’t close to making that list even though its residents aren’t getting any younger.
